Worth the money !
This leaves our 9month olds hair smelling a little weird but so silky! Doesn’t take much to lather her head with. We are seeing results after 3 uses ! Her cradle cap is almost gone already! Super easy to use. Do NOT GET IN BABIES EYES!! It hurts :( we see more hair growth after 3 uses as well. Would definitely recommend !

Great for sensitive skin
Worked in 2 uses on my 3 month old! I would definitely recommend! He has such sensitive skin and didn’t get red at all!

Works so fast!
This stuff is amazing! I used this with the baby Frida 3 step cradle cap brush and it worked wonders. My 4 month old had most of his scalp covered in it and after 2 uses of this it was about 99% gone! I highly recommend it!

Actually works!
I was leary of buying this product that seemed too good to be true. It really does work and got rid of my son’s cradle cap! It works on all ages, due to him being 3. It smells odorless and ends up being very sudsy with a small pump. You definitely need to follow the directions and let the soap sit for 5 to 10 minutes. We bought the recommended yellow silicone scrubby along with this shampoo to help exfoliate out the flakes. It took about 2 weeks to totally remove all his cradle cap.

This stuff is INCREDIBLE
Our one twin daughter has the WORSE cradle cap ever and we could NOT get rid of it! After a SINGLE application with this product, her cradle cap was almost 80% gone. We have done another application since and it has only gotten better. 100% works from a mom of 3!

Adult with fungal acne/seborrheic dermatitis–this stuff saved my face and self-esteem!!!
I don’t often write reviews but I thought that I might be able to help someone else out by writing one for this product.Last summer, my face starting breaking out in itchy white heads and closed comedones mainly on my forehead and chin. I just kept using benzoyl peroxide on my face, and it seemed to be ok for a while, but the bumps never really went away. The bumps started to become itchier and flakier over time, and when the cold weather rolled around toward the end of October, the redness and bumps had moved to my cheeks and became flaky with dandruff–the kind that you might usually expect to get on your scalp, not your face! My BP wasn’t working anymore for my cheeks (only made them worse), and I remember my face being so itchy that it would disrupt my everyday activities and literally be the only thing about which I could think. My skin was also suffering from an extreme excess of oil production, likely as a defense against the increased dryness and scaliness I was experiencing. I couldn’t wear makeup without it flaking off, and my skin looked terrible without makeup–a lose/lose situation. My self esteem really took a hit during these months, and I spent a lot of money trying to figure out what would help my itchy, flaky, dehydrated face. The only thing that offered me temporary relief during this time was steroid cream for eczema, but of course steroids could not be a long term solution. Heavy moisturizing also provided some relief.I found out about Happy Cappy on Reddit and decided to order it as a sort of Hail Mary to stop the itchiness. I had self-diagnosed myself with seb derm since I appeared to have all the symptoms–flaky skin, excess oil production, scaly red patches. I added this as a second face wash to my nightly routine (my first face wash is a simple, gentle cleansing wash) and then I moisturize while my face is still wet. In the morning, I simply wet my face and then moisturize. Every other night I used BP cream ONLY on my nose, forehead, chin, and edges of my face after my moisturizer dries–never on the sensitive cheek area. The active ingredient in this product, Zinc pyrithione, is a known fighter against seb derm, though it is somewhat underused and scare in facial products–hence, why I now use this shampoo as face wash.I started doing this back in December, and my face has improved DRASTICALLY. I saw results by January, and I still follow the same routine now. I guess the reason I didn’t write a review sooner was because I no longer had to think about my face as a problem and just kind of forgot about how much it bothered me just a few months ago. But my sister recently started complaining about itchy zits, and I suspect that she might have fungal acne. She tried Happy Cappy for the first time tonight, and I am hoping that it helps her. If not, I hope that someone reading this review, if you’ve experienced something similar to what I have described, can find my praise for and experience with this product helpful!!!Happy Cappy is an excellent, gentle product that worked for my face and for which I am extremely grateful–hope it can help other adults!

Works fast!
The bottle says 1-3 weeks to see results, but I started seeing improvement after the first wash!

Works but some Questionable Ingredients
So apparently Amazon was not happy with my initial review and wouldn’t post it. The only thing I can imagine is they did not like I had posted non Amazon links to information on 2 of the ingredients that concern me, phenoxyethanol and Cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine. Ergo here my revised review:I randomly developed white flakes in my hair and after trying a few things this was the only thing that worked. It didn’t 100% eliminate my flakes but it greatly reduced them. Unfortunately when I purchased this I had been up all night trying to find a safe, non toxic solution and did not properly vet all the ingredients.I have come to discover that phenoxyethanol is not a great ingredient. According to the website “Campaign for Safe Cosmetics” (safecosmetics.org) it can cause skin allergies, nervous system issues in infants (a nipple cream containing phenoxyethanol was found to harm breastfeeding infants) and should be kept away from small children. A cosmetic company called Follain has banished the ingredient form their products as they no longer consider it “clean beauty” (search “Follain” and “phenoxyethanol” for articles).I find it concerning that a dandruff/cradle cap shampoo marketed towards children would contain an ingredient that may be harmful to them, and encourage everyone to research themselves before using this on a child let alone yourself. For those of you who have already used it and your child had a bad reaction as I see some have, see if any other products you use on them contain phenoxyethanol and if not that may be the culprit. As for the Cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine; there doesn’t seem to be a lot of information on it which concerns me as someone who practices the precautionary principal. I am not a chemist but I do find it interesting Cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine shares the same first word as Cocamidopropyl betaine, which I’ve learned is more processed than Coco-betaine due to the “amidopropoyl” part of the name. It’s possible we will learn from further research that Cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine is ok, but in the meantime I prefer to avoid this ingredient and go for less processed, better researched ones.So while this product worked for me (luckily I bought it for myself, not a child) I will not be repurchasing until they change these ingredients, and encourage everyone to do their own research before buying or using this on yourself or children.Website Sources: I am not allowed to post direct links per Amazon policy but here are the website names. Search these + the ingredient and you should easily find the same info I did. phenoxyethanol : Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, Clean Beauty 101Cocamidopropyl: hydroxysultaine I Read Labels for You, Lisa Bronner’s Blog (briefly touches on Cocamidopropyl as in Cocamidopropyl betaine but still may be relevant. Search “Lisa Bronner+ SLS actually and it’s in the comments).

It worked for my husband, when all the others dandruff shampoos didn’t work. It’s the only shampoo he is using for several months, so it is effective for adults too. Results: he doesn’t have white flakes anymore, his hair is clean.
